Join us for a dynamic panel of experts who explore working with young children on understanding and combating climate change. During the workshop, we'll explore curriculum, work with families, children’s literature, and classroom practices focused making sense of climate change in early childhood classrooms. We'll hear from teachers, academics, and activists, all offering powerful perspectives on how to meaningfully support children in their understandings of and advocacy for this critical issue.
Panel members: Susan Rauchwerk, Nicole Weber, and Erika Thulin Dawes, Lesley University; Maria Elena Derrien and Christina Dello Russo, Buckingham Browne & Nichols School; and Kris Scopinich, Mass Audubon Society
