A chance to immerse yourself in a unique experience through cooking Indonesian delicacies.
Register now for a culinary adventure of learning authentic Indonesian cooking led by our experience chef. Learn the first hand techniques of Indonesian cooking and become familiar with varieties of spices and other must have ingredients that make Indonesian food so delightfully tasty.
In a fun and interactive session, participants will prepare two famous Indonesian dishes:
1. Ayam Woku (Chicken Woku), a spicy chicken dish originating from Manado (North Sulawesi).
2. Siomay, Indonesian steamed fish dumpling with vegetables served in peanut sauce.
Admission is $30/person and will include 1 portion of Ayam Woku + steamed white rice and 8 pcs of Siomay for dine-in together or to bring home.

ICONE (Indonesian Community of New England, Inc.) is a non-profit and a volunteer-based organization focusing on introducing and familiarizing Indonesian culture to the community at large. This cooking class is part of ICONE’s fundraising initiatives to establish future Indonesian Community Center, where people across New England can come to share and learn about Indonesian culture, arts, culinary, music and dances, as well as to gather to do many productive community programs.
