On 6th and 7th February 2016, Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School plays host to the 13th annual edition of the prestigious India conference at Harvard.
India conference at Harvard is one of the biggest India focused student led conference held in USA. In the past the conference has been graced by presence of eminent speakers such as Kiran Bedi (rtd IPS officer and Social Activist), Prithviraj Chavan (ex-Chief minister of Maharashtra), Rahul Bose (Actor, Director and Social activist), Sajjan Jindal (Chairman, MD, JSW Steel) and Akhil Gupta (Chairman, Blackstone India).
The verdict of Indian National Election 2014 was supposed to be the watershed moment for India. It promised sweeping socio-economic changes for the country. However, the reforms so far have been sluggish. India is a country in transition for sure but with every transition comes its set of challenges and opportunities. At 13th edition of India Conference at Harvard, we aim to bring together India’s thought leaders for a weekend of discussions and brainstorming sessions to unravel these challenges and explore the opportunities that lies ahead for India and for people doing business in or with India.
