Human Services Hiring Event

MAB Community Services' Day programming is looking to add to our team. Are you interested in working in the human services field but not sure how to jump right in? We current have 3 growing day programs, each their own unique participants & programming.

Two of our day programs are located in Allston, and one of our programs is completely community based and state wide (Greater Boston - Central MA)

We are looking for full time, part time & relief staff for all three of our programs.

Join us on October 12th between 11-2 at our main office *29 Denby Road, Allston MA *to learn more about our programs and for an on the spot interview.

Driver License is requires. Bring your CPR, First and and/or MAP certifications if you have them!

Descriptions on our current day programming:
Mabworks: is our community based day program (CBDS) focused on helping individuals develop the skills needed to pursue their life interests and become active participants in their own lives. Whether an individual wants to learn how to use public transportation, go shopping, develop meaningful friendships, or learn to budget Mabworks can do it. We also provide the support necessary for individuals to develop job skills and find volunteer opportunities, as well as competitive employment in the community with the support of a job coach when appropriate. *Location: Allston*
MabHab: is our day habilitation where we provide comprehensive clinical services, including occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language therapy, in addition to full time nursing and behavioral support. Our interdisciplinary team provides an individualized plan of structured activities for each participant, helping them build the skills they need to reach their goals for independent living, self help, communication & socialization. *Location: Allston*

MabVoc: participants in this program engage in a variety of learning experiences in preparation for paid and unpaid employment in an integrated community setting. Activities can include job searching & job coaching once placed in an employment opportunity. These services begin and end at an individual's home location with the entire service taking place in the community. *Location: Greater Boston, Metro West, South Easter, Center MA*

Please bring your driving license and any certifications that you may have such as CPR. First Aid, MAP or CPI.

You can complete the application form when you arrive. Please note we will only be interviewing candidates who present their valid driving license on the day.
