Erica Van, Venture Investor at CRV, and Madeline Keulen, Vice President at Victress Capital, will give an inside view of how founders can nail the first wave of communication with VCs (from outreach to discovery call) in order to secure a partner-level meeting.

WHO IS ERICA VAN?
Erica Van is currently a Venture Investor at CRV, a leading investor in high-growth technology companies like Zwitter and Zendesk for almost half a century. At CRV, Erica focuses on enterprise, frontier tech, and SaaS. Prior to joining CRV, Erica worked as an investor at Presidio Partners focusing on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and blockchain. Prior to that, Erica co-founded a Strategy team at J.P. Morgan and worked across investment banking, asset management, and treasury securities at the firm.

WHO IS MADELINE KEULEN?
Madeline Keulen is currently a Vice President at Victress Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm that provides visionary and diverse founding teams in the consumer space. Prior to Victress Capital, Madeline was a consultant at Oliver Wyman, where she advised some of the world’s largest firms on growth strategy, operations, and post-merger integration. Madeline has also served as a Rock Venture Partner during her time at HBS and Venture Fellow at G51.
