In addition to writing remarks for President Barack Obama on a wide range of domestic policy issues, Litt served as the lead joke writer for several White House Correspondents’ Dinner monologues. His New York Times bestselling memoir, Thanks, Obama: My Hopey Changey White House Years, was published in 2017. He is currently developing a TV show based on his life in Washington.

This talk will be moderated by Cecile Richards, who is a national leader for women’s rights and social and economic justice. As former president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Planned Parenthood Action Fund for more than a decade, Richards has worked to increase affordable access to reproductive health care and strengthen the movement for sexual and reproductive rights. She and her husband Kirk Adams have three children and live in New York City and Maine. She spends most of her free time baking pies.
