Historic Holidays

The Danvers Alarm List Company will be hosting their annual Historic Holidays: Holidays Through the Ages. Visitors will be able to explore traditions from the days of Yore. We encourage any and all to enjoy a celebration of the origins of many of our New England holiday traditions. Everything from: What did they really eat at the first Thanksgiving? to What is the origin of the Christmas tree? You will also be able to drink mulled cider by the roaring fire in our open hearth and meet reenactors representing many different time periods.

New this year, we will have Holiday History Trivia with a few small prizes given out to the 1st and 2nd place teams, and the North Shore Players will be doing a preview of their show called "Christmas in Times of Conflict" (Time for preview is TBD)

Event hours will be 10AM-3PM November 16th 2019. Admission is Adults $8, Seniors $6, Children 6-16 $4, under 6 and members of the Rebecca Nurse Homestead Preservation Society FREE. The Rebecca Nurse Homestead is located at 149 Pine St, Danvers, MA.

The Rebecca Nurse Homestead is a 17th century historic house museum set on 27 beautiful acres in the heart of Danvers MA. It is owned and operated by the Danvers Alarm List Company a premier 18th century reenactment group and is a 501c3 non-profit company.
