The Artist's Bluff loop is short and not very difficult, with less than 700 ft of elevation gain - but the views look amazing. The plan is to take it slow, and lounge out with a view, as well as down by the adjacent Echo Lake if we feel inclined, enjoying the mild 50 degree weather in the mountains while we have it.

I've been out of commission a few weeks with an injury and had to miss some pristine hiking weekends. Things are on the mend now, and I'm very excited to make an excursion up to the Whites here at the end of foliage season. So if you're in a similar position looking to dip your toe back into hiking, or if you just want to take it easy and enjoy, this is for you! Anyone into meditation is welcome to practice when we stop as well.

If you are looking to go fast, not take your time enjoying the scenery, or go off on your own, this is not the hike for you!

It is October so if the weather forecast gets dodgy, this will have to be cancelled. Let's hope it stays mild!

Bring: lunch, 1+ liters of water, good footwear, layers, and a map (digital or otherwise).

Disclaimer: I am not a guide, we are just a group of people who feel like hiking together
