We'll be hiking Mt. Waumbek and Starr King in the Northern Presidential's, totaling 6.9 miles. Mt. Waumbek is one of the 4,000 footers of New England and one of the easiest to summit. Starr King is just under the 4,000 foot mark, but still worthwhile to summit, due to its incredible views of the Presidential Mountains to the south. This is a great hike to start if you're planning to hike all of the 4,000 footers in New England.
