Trip description:
Come join us on a hike of Mt. Washington, the highest point in the Northeastern United States at 6,288 feet! We will leave Boston early in the morning and can make it to the base in approximately three hours. I am open to hiking to the summit and back, or to the summit and taking the railway down, depending on people's preferences. There are also a variety of trails to choose from; I have been suggested to do the Jewel trail (see below) but we can discuss.

The usual hiking gear will be required. These include:


* Waterproof hiking boots


* Non-cotton layers


* Headlamp


* Enough water, lunch and snacks.


* Hat and sunglasses


* Microspikes


* Poles (optional)
