Enjoy 2.5 hours of hiking at one of Boston's closest mountains - Mt. Wachusett. Miles of trails offer a diverse topography that is accessible for beginners and others. Forested areas, inclined rocks, and even small bodies of water dot the land. For this mid-week hike you'll need to make sure you have gear appropriate to winder conditions, including outdoor shoes, wool socks, multiple non-cotton layers, gloves, and a hat. Option for dinner and drinks can follow the day out.
