Come hike the highest point in Vermont!


We are camping at Underhill State Park.


Our group will either hike Saturday or Sunday morning depending on the weather. I have two available spots in my car for carpooling and one available space in my tent for the one-two night stay. I will be leaving the Providence Park and Ride around 5:30pm on Friday. The address is: 383-385, Providence, RI 02904. If you want to park in the Providence Station, I can meet you there too. If you have a tent, please make a reservation by calling 18028993022.


The plan is to climb up and down the Long Trial, which is the back portion of the trial below: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/vermont/sunset-ridge-trail-and-long-trail-loop.


This is a relatively difficult hike and our group will progress at a consistent pace, so hiking experience is required. Also, make sure to bring plenty of warm camping gear, water, and food for the hike.
