Mount Monroe is a 5,372 foot mountain in the Presidential Range of the White Mountains. It is the 4th highest mountain on the 4,000 footers official list of New Hampshire. There are 2 small lakes and a hut between Mount Monroe and Mount Washington called Lakes of the Clouds, and Lakes of the Clouds Hut. The summit offers 360 degree amazing views that include Mount Washington and the rest of the Presidential Range Mountains. We will also stop at the Lake of the Clouds Hut.

Expectations:
This is a difficult hike due to the elevation gain. We will not summit Mt. Washington or Eisenhower, so please do not ask to do so if signing up for this hike. You must have some previous experience hiking. Please note the weather will be much colder at higher elevations, and to avoid exposure, you will need to follow the gear list as stated below. Anyone who shows up without the right gear will be turned away. I am not a guide, and you are expected to be 100% prepared as if you were to do this hike by yourself.
Gear (non negotiable)
1) Hiking boots or trail runners (absolutely no sneakers)
2) Multiple non-cotton layers for both bottom and core
3) Windbreaker jacket
4) Non-cotton hat
5) Gloves
6) 2 - 3 liters of water; we can refill at the hut as needed
7) Raincoat
8) Non-cotton socks
