We'll be hiking Franconia Ridge, which contains three peaks: Little Haystack, Lincoln, and Lafayette which are all 4,000 footers. This hike has one of the best views in New England as it follows a ridge-line once you reach the summit of Little Haystack. We'll be hiking up via the Falling Waters trail to Little Haystack, followed by the Franconia Ridge trail to Mount Lincoln and Lafayette. We descend via the Old Bridle Path. The total hike will be 8.4 miles in a loop. I'm a moderately slow hiker, so if you're looking to go too fast, this hike is probably not for you.
