This is an easy and quick hike to Mt Canon in the White Mountains, NH.
Hiking this mountain is a good opportunity for beginners to learn more about hiking in the white mountains. This is a pretty easy climb, not too steep and not too long. Some good views along the way of Franconia notch.
**Special note: This will be Suneil's final 4000ft summit in NH! We'll celebrate afterwards and answer any questions for those that want to complete the NH48.**
Gameplan:
Start at Kinsman Ridge Trailhead and take the Kinsman Ridge trail up to the Mt Canon summit.
We'll take our time getting back and hang out by Echo lake, get food, and enjoy the day.
Gear:
-hiking shoes/boots with wool socks
-2L of water, lunch, snacks
-hat, sunscreen, sunglasses
Summit height: 4100ft
Total hiking distance: 4 miles (out and back)
Elevation gain: 2300 ft
