Had a blue hills hike in summer and went well, so mine as well do again before the snow! Will meet at shea rink, (trailhead at parking lot) and hike to Chickatawbut hill. (5 mile roundtrip, moderate terrain) Following skyline trail, will go by many viewpoints of Boston and the surrounding area. Plan on say 2 1/2 hours, depending on how much we stop. Remember your masks and at least a liter of water.


Getting there: I don't plan to have carpool option, but if you need to take the train I could probably pick up at JFK/UMass. Please comment on the discussion and if a few people want it I will try to get it set up.


(There is sizable elevation gain here, and many up's and down's so to speak, there is one ''tricky' rocky hill climb, but we can avoid this if need be. Otherwise it's pretty moderate.)
