About the course: This class will address simple teas you can make at home and we’ll discuss herbs you can find in grocery stores to improve joint health, some for internal use, some for topical use. We’ll also discuss foods and other non-herbal ways to improve your joint health. Students will have the opportunity to taste all of the teas and herbs that will be discussed.
About the Facilitator: Katherine Gekas is a graduate of two local herb schools: Boston School of Herbal Studies and the Commonwealth Center for Holistic Herbalism. She has been teaching herb classes for over three years and also educates privately with individuals who are seeking a personal herbal approach to their health.
