On Monday, April 29th, 2019, The Massachusetts Restaurant Association (MRA) is partnering once again with Cooking Matters to help provide families in Massachusetts with the resources and skills to stop childhood hunger and make knowledgeable choices. The expansion of the initiative across Massachusetts was inspired by celebrated Boston Chef and Pitmaster Andy Husbands and his team’s generosity to host the Cooking Matters Massachusetts Dinner over the past 21 years. The state-wide event will now be hosted by numerous restaurants in an effort to empower parents and provide confidence in the kitchen on a budget.
Thirty-three Massachusetts Restaurant Association restaurants will participate in Massachusetts Restaurant Day. On April 29th, guests can dine at any of the restaurants and enjoy a special menu at that location with all proceeds going to Cooking Matters. For more information on Massachusetts Restaurant Day, or to help eliminate childhood hunger in Massachusetts, please visit: https://ma.cookingmatters.org/MRAevent.
Participating restaurants include: 110 Grill, The Sole, Bocado, Nonna's, 111 Chop House, Rye & Thyme, Sonoma , The Fix Burger Bar, Horseshoe Grille, Mezcal Tequila Cantina, Via Italian Table, Turner's Seafood, Evviva Trattoria Westford and Evviva Trattoria Marlborough
