Randy Garber presents HearSay at the Lunder Arts Center Atrium through March 4. Randy will also be giving a talk about her work on March 3 from 1:30–3 p.m.

Hearing impaired since infancy, Randy Garber, "resides in the sensorial gap between the deaf and hearing worlds.” Randy's prints and installations visualize what she refers to as the space between silence and sound. Her work uses traditional techniques with non-traditional materials in unconventional ways.

"I employ imagery that investigates perceptual variety and suggests the construction and de-construction of language: glyphs that evoke letters, letters that morph into marks.”

HearSay questions the veracity of written and heard language as a site-specific work. Embodying the printmaking process, the installation presents free-hanging double sided prints and the etched copper that produced them.
