Harvard Square The Taste of Chocolate Festival

The wait is over! The Harvard Square Business Association is delighted to announce the return of the 16th Annual Taste of Chocolate Festival! From January 26th through the 28th, Harvard Square's finest restaurants, cafes and shops will

embark on a three-day chocolate extravaganza. The centerpiece of this beloved and eagerly anticipated sweet weekend is our free Chocolate Tasting Event taking place on Brattle Street (between Eliot and Church Streets) from 1pm - 2pm, followed by an outdoor chocolate street party celebration until 4pm.

Come early and be prepared to indulge in scrumptious treats! This chocolate extravaganza attracts hundreds of chocoholics! Harvard Square businesses generously distributing chocolate samples include:

While indulging in chocolate delicacies, keep warm by sipping a hot chocolate infused cocktail or glass of wine in our “Winter Chocolate and Wine Garden” hosted by Harvard Square’s very own Commonwealth Wine School. Drinks will feature Alc-A-Chino, the perfect blend of 100% Arabica Coffee, cream and cane sugar blended with 6x Distilled American Vodka and Mocha Alc-A-Chino, the original recipe with added imported Dutch Cocoa for a decadent Spiked Mocha Latte, graciously supplied by Howie’s Spiked.

A Winter Carnival event would not be the same without our good friends and crowd-pleasers, Grooversity, who will take off the chill (and perhaps some newly ingested calories!) from 1pm – 2pm with their heart-stopping percussion combining traditional Brazilian grooves like Samba and Axe with Funk, Rock, Jazz and Hip Hop .

At 2pm, DJ extraordinaire, DJ Joey Finnz, will be playing a mix of throwbacks, remixes, and Nu Disco dance music. Come get your groove on and dance like no one is watching! Joe Williams, AKA Joey Finnz, is a drummer, producer, engineer, and DJ. He’s experienced in a myriad of musical styles, having performed as a musician and audio engineer for over 1,000 live events. His passion and knowledge of world music is evident in the track selections and vibes of his DJ performances.

Put your feet up in one of enclosed “igloos” – an ideal place to unwind and warm up after all that chocolate and dancing.
