Chocolate lovers rejoice: Harvard Square’s eagerly-anticipated Chocolate Festival returns with special menus, promotions, and complimentary public tastings. You’ll be tempted by perfect pairings, chocolate-themed cocktails, luscious desserts, in-store tastings, discount offerings, festive window displays and more.


Harvard Square Chocolate Sampling Event: Saturday, Jan 25th From 1pm – 2pm...

Brattle Plaza (27 Brattle Street) will play host to an array of chocolaty samples from restaurants and shops from across Harvard Square. The Second Line Social Aid & Pleasure Society Brass Band, a Harvard Square favorite, will be on hand playing rousing songs which will surely get the party started. Harvard Square restaurants and businesses who will be generously giving out chocolate samples include:

Harvard Museum of Natural History
Visit the famed Glass Flowers gallery at the Harvard Museum of Natural History to see exquisitely realistic hand-crafted glass models of Cacao, as well as cashew nuts, mango, pineapple, and other edible plants. Newly on display are Blaschka models of apple and apricots showing the diseases afflict these fruiting trees, as well as other models of Salvia and Oxalis illustrating methods of insect pollination. These models have not been on display at Harvard in over a decade.
