ARTS FIRST is Harvard's annual showcase of student and faculty creativity. Produced by the OFA, with support from the Board of Overseers of Harvard College, the festival is a public event with many free performances and activities for Harvard and community members of all ages.

Performance Fair Opening Events:
Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra performs Dvořák's Cello Concerto in B minor
Swan Lake: For the Birds! with the Hasty Pudding Theatricals, River Charles Ensemble, Harvard Ballet Company and a corps de ballet of Harvard faculty: Rakesh Khurana, Tom Dingman and distinguished professors Steven Pinker, Diana Eck and others! Hosted by Harvard’s Master of the Arts John Lithgow ’67, intrepidly assisted by the Harvard Jazz Band.
Performance Fair including Global Arts/DanceFest on the Plaza and “Make Art” stations.
Sunday, May 3
Spring Forward: Stories and Music for a New Season: 6 storytellers, 7 minutes, no notes and (mostly true) tales on the theme of “spring” presented by The Sloth storytelling hour. The afternoon culminates with the Eurydice Chamber Ensemble performing Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring under the Plaza Ten.
