If you are one of the tens of thousands of people who have been to Harborwalk Sounds, you don’t need to be told what a delightful experience it is. Take the eclectic, inspiring sounds of Berklee’s best acts. Put them on the ICA’s Vivien and Alan Hassenfeld Harborway with the ocean breeze at sunset. Mix in food and drink from the Water Café, and you have the recipe for a truly special evening. Combine with a visit to the galleries—free on Thursday nights—and voilá! Perfection. Now in its eighth year, the series draws from Berklee’s deep well of astounding talent, presenting a wide range of styles and influences, from bluegrass to funk to British electronica to indigenous African sounds. It’s an unparalleled opportunity to catch gifted up-and coming artists in a setting that is both intimate and vast.
