Groundwork Somerville is a non-profit organization that strives to bring about the sustained regeneration, improvement, and management of the physical environment through the development of community-based partnerships. At South Street Farm, one of the two urban farm sites that Groundwork Somerville manages, the organization launched a summer music series to highlight talented local performers.
The next concert takes place on Thursday, August 4th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at South Street Farm just minutes away from the new Union Square MBTA station and mere feet from Boynton Yards. It features R&B grooves from singer Leah Parrett, Hip Hop from rapper Sur5ILL, games onsite and more! General admission is free and all ages are welcome however $10 donations are suggested to support further programming.
Groundwork Somerville has secured an ongoing partnership with EventThem, a premier, Somerville-based event production company, to provide staging, sound and tech. Talent is brought to you by Somer Fest.
