Bay Area trio Grex brings its unique brand of art rock to Cambridge’s Lilypad. The band has been called “completely original... true genre warping music,” and its fun, endlessly surprising sound draws from psychedelic rock (Hendrix), alt rock (The Pixies), and modern jazz (Ornette Coleman) in equal measures. For this special evening of music, Grex will be joined by local avant-garde band Fable Grazer and protopunk legends Kenne Highland and the Gizmos.
