A group of cutthroat Chicago real estate salesmen will go to any lengths -- from lies and flattery to bribery and burglary -- to unload parcels of Florida land on unsuspecting buyers in this darkly comic satire of the American Dream. The stakes are high: The top salesman gets a new Cadillac while the loser gets to clean out his desk. Written by David Mamet (American Buffalo, TV's The Unit), Glengarry Glen Ross draws on his real-life experiences at a Chicago real estate firm in the 1960s, serving as a scathing yet humorous critique of American business culture. This production of Glengarry Glen Ross at The Umbrella Annex in Concord remains as relevant today as when it won the Pulitzer Prize and a Tony Award in 1984.
