Skip the boring dinner date, and get creative at the Valentines Day Date Glass Fusing Class at The Glass Bar. Bring your special someone for an evening that is sure to impress. It’s easy to learn the basics off glass fusion and the possibilities are endless.
At The Glass Bar, we work one on one with you to ensure you are completely comfortable creating your own piece of art. Our friendly instructors will guide you through the process of creating fused glass artwork.
During this lesson, participants will learn how to cut, shape, and grind glass to create their project. We encourage you to venture outside your comfort zone to create a piece of art that you will be proud to brag, “I made it!”
During this class you will each receive a clear piece of 6 x 6 glass and a 3 x 4 clear piece of glass, which you will decorate to your liking. Once slumped the set will be two ‘sushi’ style dishes, great for appetizers and two smaller dishes for sauces and dips. You can each work to create matching plates, like what is pictured or you can play around with other ideas – get creative!
Rules
All participants have a completed copy of the liability waiver on file and wear close-toed shoes. Projects must fire in the kiln over night and may take up to a week for completion. We are not responsible for projects after 30 days. We are not responsible for projects that break in the kiln.

Ticket admits ONE guest to this event, please purchase the amount of tickets to accommodate the amount of people in your party.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made with 48 hours or more notice may receive a refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a credit only. We are sorry, but we cannot give refunds or issue credits for ‘no shows’. Cancellations accepted phone or by emailing us at [email protected].
