Give Your Stuff Away Day

On Saturday, May 15, for the eleventh year, Sawyer Hill Ecovillage will be celebrating Give Your Stuff Away Day by, well, giving away stuff -- toys, clothes, books/media, housewares, furniture -- anything you might find at a multifamily yard sale, but all totally free!

As in previous years, service animals are welcome, but pets must be left at home.

To maximize social distancing, we will place our free items in several giveaway areas outdoors; designated areas will clearly be marked FREE. Please note that we're still in a pandemic, so there will be no backup indoor space in case of inclement weather. Our current plan is to offer Sunday, May 16 as a rain date; if the weather is poor all weekend, we'll postpone till September. Please watch our event webpage for updates.

Also note that last year's pandemic rules will remain in force this year, to keep both visitors and residents safe:

• Close-fitting FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED and must cover the mouth and nose. (Yes, even if you're immune because of full vaccination or recent recovery.) If extra disposables are available, we will offer you one, but unmasked visitors will be asked to leave the property. Children under 2 are exempt, but must remain in strollers or other carriers.

* Parking will be allowed only along Village Lane and Village Court. If parking spots are full, wait and come back when there aren't so many people on site.

* Please distance at least 6 feet from people not in your group, and use hand sanitizer on request.
