Join us for the first concert in Brookline Music School's Faculty Artist Series, featuring BMS faculty member Darry Dolezal (cello), performing with guests Paul Jacobs (piano) and Susan Jensen (violin), as the Thoreau Piano Trio. Program: Ghost Stories -- works by Beethoven and Shostakovich.
The Thoreau Piano Trio is made up of three internationally acclaimed artists, with concert appearances on four continents and numerous accolades including a Grammy nomination. In the spirit of Henry David Thoreau, "I wanted to live deep and suck out the marrow of life," the Thoreau Piano Trio cuts through hundreds of years of tradition to find and express the essence of each masterwork, interpreting each on its own terms.
