The Stevens-Coolidge Place cutting garden is an ideal setting for a creative flower arranging workshop and we invite you to join florist Mary Beth Hayes of Semper Virens to discover why!
Beginning with a guided tour of the cutting garden and an introduction to creating and maintaining a cut-flower garden, participants will select 10-12 stems to add to their arrangements. This workshop will cover best practices for harvesting and conditioning flowers for maximum vase life, as well as simple design principles. Each participant will create a beautiful, seasonal flower arrangement to take home. Additional cut flowers, greens and a vase will be provided. Registrants are encouraged to bring their own clippers.
