Join artist and professor Susan Lichtman and curator Dr. Gannit Ankori as they discuss Susan Lichtman: At Home at the Rose. This intimate exhibition places Lichtman’s paintings alongside work from the Rose’s permanent collection that have informed her practice over her forty-year career as an artist and educator. Lichtman’s colorful and detailed narratives challenge conventions about women’s relationship to domestic interiors, creating improvisational, open-ended narratives.
This program is co-presented with the Department of Fine Arts, Brandeis University.
