Fugitive Stories “Moth-Inspired True Stories Told Live” presents its monthly showcase of experienced and first-time storytellers who will explore the theme, “Trust.” Fans of National Public Radio’s "The Moth Radio Hour," Fugitive Stories gives you a chance to experience hearing true stories told by people you just might know.

One of the March storytellers you just might know is Rep. Jen Benson, Massachusetts 37th Middlesex representative for citizens in Acton, Ayer, Boxborough, Harvard, Lunenberg and Shirley. Her true story on “Trust” might be about her recent trip to Israel or to Scotland where she visited her daughter.

You can also find out more about Fugitive Stories community partner, Open Table, a nonprofit that provides a weekly community supper and food pantry to nearly 300 guests in Concord and Maynard. They will have a teller (or two) to share a personal story.

Acton Coffee is open until 6:30 p.m. True West offers 10-percent off food to patrons (who have purchased tickets online) who join before or after the show.

Tickets are available in advance for $10 online, and then cost $12 at the door.
