This “Treasures of Spectacle Island” trip will take place on Saturday September 29th. It is free and open to the public to allow community members to enjoy all that our region’s spectacular natural resources have to offer.

Once on Spectacle Island, Save the Harbor/Save the Bay’s staff will lead beach walks to explore Spectacle’s “Treasure Beach”, famous for the sea glass and historic artifacts that are known to wash onshore as well as assist in fishing and crabbing from the pier. Visitors can also hike to the top of the North Drumlin for unbeatable views of the Harbor, city skyline, and surrounding islands, or spend a relaxing day on the beach.

Please arrive at 9:30am at the World Trade Center dock to check in. We will board Bay State Cruise Company's flagship Provincetown II at 9:45am. The boat will leave promptly at 10:00am whether or not you are on it!

Guests will return to the dock at 1:45pm to return to Boston by 2:30pm.

Please note that the Boston Harbor Islands National & State Park enforces a carry on, carry off policy: please bring a bag for your trash and dispose of it back on the boat.

Share the Harbor is funded in part by Mass Humanities, which receives support from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and is an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
