Come shop 60 vendors on 3 floors! There will be vendors in the ballroom, the library, and the mezzanine. A map will be provided upon entry so you can quickly find your favorite vendors and their location!


We will be holding workshops, seminars and demonstrations upstairs in the mezzanine section.... more information to be added as we secure instructors.
Ticketing for these will be separate from general admission.

Mark Breen-Klein is a biomedical engineer and artist currently working at The Mutter Museum. His passions for science and nature have led him to work with zoos, museums, nature reserves, and research facilities. Mark creates scientific art from deceased animals so that the natural wonders he adores can live on and continue to educate even after death through the fascinating process of bone articulation.

Class Description:
Our artistic articulation class is a introductory class to artistic bone articulation. Each student will be provided with a variety of reptile, bird, and small mammal bones in a shadow box or on a wooden base. They will be shown how to glue and wire everything together and can make their own unique hybrid creations or create something more natural.
Goal of Class:
Teach students the basics of skeletal articulation.
What materials will be supplied by Instructor:
We will provide all specimens, materials, and tools for the class. Each student will leave with his or her own finished mount. All specimen deaths are not related to the artwork. Everything is long deceased beforehand. Animals are sourced from roadkill when legal, abatement and nuisance removal, donations, pet store and breeder casualties, and scraps from other taxidermists which would often be thrown away
Will the “students” need to purchase supplies prior? IF so, what?
No.
Will follow up questions from “students” after the convention be allowed?

Katie Innamorato is a modern-day Anubis, aiming to preserve and honor the deceased in their afterlife. She has been professionally trained and competes at state and world level championships. She has teamed up with The Field Museum for an educational video, taught classes for the New York state Department of Environmental Conservation, and worked with the SVA in NYC for some classes as well. She has been featured on the TV show "Oddities," displayed pieces at Bergdorf Goodman, profiled in the book Taxidermy Art, along with coauthoring her own book, "STUFFED ANIMALS."

Class Description: This class will introduce students to the process and techniques behind basic small mammal taxidermy. Students will be shown a quick skinning demonstration and given pre-tanned skins to work with. Bodies will be pre-made and students will be able to position, sew, and pin their creations. Students are encouraged to bring in any props they may want to dress the animal up in.

Class Title: Victorian Hairwork with Courtney Lane
Class Description: Learn how to work, weave, and sculpt human hair into sentimental works of art in the Victorian fashion. This course will give you a strong foundation for performing the wire work techniques used in making hair wreaths and will provide an introduction to the palette work (flat picture) techniques often seen in Victorian mourning jewelry. Students are requested to bring a picture frame of their choice to class. Human hair, horse hair, and all the necessary tools will be provided by the instructor.
Goal of Class: Develop a strong foundation for performing wire work hair flower techniques and receive an introduction to palette work (flat picture) techniques.
What materials will be supplied by INSTRUCTOR: Human hair, horse hair, and tools.
Will the “student” need to purchase supplies prior? IF so, what? Students are requested to bring a picture frame of their choice. They may bring their own hair to work with if they wish, but this is not required, as practice hair will be provided.
