Back for the fourth year in a row, The New Center for Arts & Culture will host the annual, ‘Moo Shu Jew’ show, a comedy dinner event on Christmas Eve. Inspired by the Jewish family tradition of spending Christmas Eve in a Chinese restaurant, the night will feature several celebrity comics from primetime’s most popular late-night talk shows. This year’s lineup includes, Cory Kahaney, Harrison Greenbaum, Josh Gondelman, and Adrianne Tolsch who will perform Jewish-inspired stand-up while guests enjoy a delicious dinner (no shellfish, no pork!).
Cory Kahaney – Cory Kahaney is a regular on the Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson. This year she also appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman and in a new TV special for Nick Mom. Kahney is also the creator and producer of ‘Moo Shu Jew’.
Harrison Greenbaum – Harrison began performing stand-up comedy while studying psychology and English at Harvard. He has appeared on MTV, SPIKE TV, The Discovery Channel, and The Science Channel. A writer for MAD Magazine, his one-man show, ‘Harrison Greenbaum: What Just Happened?,’ debuted at the legendary Uprights Citizens Brigade Theatre.
Josh Gondelman – Josh is a writer and comedian who incubated in Boston before moving to New York City. With years of experience as a preschool teacher, Josh charms audiences using his good-natured storytelling and cracks them up with his sharp, pointy wit. He currently works as the Web Producer for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on HBO and has written for Esquire, Elle, and Cosmopolitan. He is the co-author/co-founder of the Modern Seinfeld Twitter account (@SeinfeldToday).
Adrianne Tolsch – Adrianne began her career in New York City at Catch a Rising Star. She has headlined at every major comedy club in the United States, as well as casinos in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Adrianne has performed as far away as London, England, Melbourne, Australia, and Hobart, Tasmania. She has been the opening act for Jay Leno, The Pointer Sisters, Bobby Vinton, Pat Cooper, Chita Rivera, Clint Holmes, and Billy Crystal.
