Fort Point Open Studios

Open Studios brings people together to celebrate art and culture as it is created in Fort Point. During Open Studios FPAC artists welcome Boston area residents, as well as visitors from afar, into our spaces for a casual (informal) weekend of experiencing art, growing friendships and enjoying all our neighborhood has to offer.

FPAC artists welcome visitors into their live-work studios twice annually to share the arts, industry and creative culture of this unique community with the public. FPAC pioneered Boston’s original Open Studios event, “Fort Point Open Studios,” which has since been replicated in dozens of artist communities throughout the city.

FPAC’s Fall and Spring Open Studios events feature the work of member artists, craftspeople, and designers on view in artists’ studios, in galleries, on the streets and in the water around Fort Point. Learn about our established community of makers and its unique place in Boston’s history while enjoying the diverse collection of the community’s creations: painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry, pottery, textiles, fashion, graphics and industrial design, plus music and performance.

In addition to meeting artists in their live-work studios, visitors to Fort Point can enjoy a weekend of music, performances, demonstrations, children’s art-making activities and public art installations, including our one-of-a-kind floating public art program. Explore the historic warehouse buildings, meet our artists and enjoy the creativity of our community.
