Temptress' triumphant return home to Boston with Girl On Top and Poets & Madmen. An early 6pm show at TT The Bear's Place Inc to benefit The 29th annual AIDS Walk Boston & 5K Run.
Early Show 6pm start with Poets and Madmen, then Girl On Top & then Temptress. Following the live music stick around for Heroes dance party!
$8 entry fee provides a $2 donation to AIDS Walk Boston
About the bands:
Temptress is a campy and theatrically entertaining high energy rock band from Boston/NYC. The charismatic singer/guitarist commands attention from the stage. A true entertainer, her wit and charisma are unbridled and often risqué, while her tongue and cheek songs rock hard by her polished powerhouse band.
After a long hiatus to upgrade with many surgical improvements, Temptress is re-energized and back with a vengeance and excited about her return hometown show at TT the Bears in Boston. “I needed improvements cosmetically, so I got my face, breasts and booty remodeled.” The band Temptress has been busy as of late with frequent shows in NYC and all over the Northeast, but her triumphant return to hometown Boston has been one of great planning and precision.
Temptress' body is not the only thing that has been revamped and improved. Their new visually striking and entertaining website (www.TemptressRocks.com) follows Temptress and her exploits with celebrities, politicians and professional athletes and will feature games, contests, new music and videos. “We encourage our internet audience to participate, just like a Temptress live show” added the remodeled redhead.

Girl On Top:
After being in many other bands singer Karen DeBiasse started Girl On Top in 1988 and has been playing locally and all over New England and New York since than.
The guitar surrounds you like a playful snuggle with with a cougar, moving through spaces that others shy to go. The feminine siren is deep with a melodic controlled dance of the tongue. Distinctive songs that seep right through you and drive you to move.
Girl On Top won First Place in an International Music Search for Meridian Records, was named Top Band in 2013 by Metronome Magazine, and was Runner Up in Ticket Master Showcase Contest. Karen also won a local Boston award for Most Voluptuous Performer. Fifteen of their songs have been placed in Independent Films. They perform regularly in New England and New York venues and have opened for such bands as The Goo Goo Dolls, Extreme, Tracy Bonham, etc.

Poets and Madmen:
Poets & madmen are an alternative hip hop group from Boston MA.
They are a combination or funk, reggae, and jam-band. Rock over hip hop with danceable beats. The band presents vocal phrasings reminiscent of Eminem, Tupac, Sage Francis and a host of others from a new generation of determination.

AIDS ACTION:
The 29th annual AIDS Walk Boston & 5K Run, will be held on Sunday June 1, 2013. The Boston AIDS Walk & 5K Run draws 10,000 to 15,000 participants and is AIDS Action’s largest annual fundraiser. The Walk is 6.2-miles long. The 5K Run is a competitive, timed event, and is fully sanctioned by the USA Track & Field Association. The AIDS Walk & 5K Run will begin and end at the DCR Hatch Memorial Shell on the Charles River Esplanade in Boston. The Walk begins at 10 a.m.; the 5K Run begins at 9:50 a.m. Participants can register for the AIDS Walk & 5K Run at www.aidswalkboston.org. There is neither a registration fee nor a minimum funds raised requirement in order to participate in the Walk. The 5K Run is $25 to register. AIDS Action expects to raise approximately $1 million from participants.
AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts cares for one-in-six people diagnosed with HIV in our state, and provide prevention services to thousands more.
