If so, this is the right class for you! Washed rind cheeses often get a bad rap - so much so that our mail-order business had to create custom stickers pronouncing "Stinky Cheese Alert! Do Not Throw Away!" For those who shy away from these pungent cheeses, they are missing an incredibly diverse (and delicious) category of cheeses! This class will take you on an 8 course tasting of washed rind cheeses of various levels of "funk" expertly paired with wine and condiments. Our mongers will discuss what the stink is all about and why we love it. As you taste through this distinct category of cheeses, you will come to appreciate the skill needed to produce these incredible cheeses and why they are typically amongst our cheesemonger's favorite cheeses!
