About Farm to Post
A special part of Post 390 is the restaurant’s “Farm to Post” tasting series, which features a monthly spotlight on some of New England’s finest farmers, producers, vineyards, brewers, and fishermen and focuses on ingredients that are sourced locally, and produced sustainably. Every month or so, Chris Himmel (Executive Vice President of Himmel Hospitality Group) and Executive Chef Nick Deutmeyer select a local New England forager, farm or fishing community to visit and learn how some of the region’s finest produce, livestock, meat, fish or dairy is sourced and produced. Deutmeyer and his team then create a creative “Farm to Post” menu highlighting products from their visit. The menu often changes throughout the month, and is available with wine pairings selected by Beverage Director/Advanced Sommelier Jason Percival.
