On Monday night, April 3 at 6:30pm, the Boston Public Market will host a sneak preview of an unreleased trailer for the feature-length documentary, "A Fine Line" at their Farm to Fork to Film event. In Aliana Productions' forthcoming documentary, "A Fine Line", Director/Producer Joanna James explores the challenges of the restaurant industry for women, and why only 6% of the country’s executive chefs and restaurant owners are female. Guests at Farm to Fork to Film will have the opportunity to meet some of the area’s top female chefs and restaurateurs, including Barbara Lynch, Jody Adams and Tiffani Faison, while enjoying beer, wine and specialty cocktails, plus signature dishes from the featured chefs’ restaurants.
Tickets to Farm to Fork to Film at the Boston Public Market (100 Hanover Street) are available for $110 each, with all proceeds going to the completion of A Fine Line, and its campaign to achieve equal pay rates, equal work and paid parental leave for female restaurant professionals. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.
