Join us on Sunday, September 19 for the Cambridge celebration of Fancy Women Bike Ride, a global unity ride to bring visibility to women riders on our roads. This event is open to all women-identifying pedalers to come flaunt their fanciest attire and ride in style!
We will meet en masse in Cambridge Common. Can't find us? We will be the best looking group there! This ride will roll at a leisurely pace and will be appropriate for beginner riders. The Fancy Women Bike Ride was born in 2013 in Izmir (Turkey) to ask the Mayor to celebrate World Car-Free Day and to demand that cities create a welcoming space for women to cycle and interact with the city in a whole new way. It is now happening in over 30 countries and 150 cities across the globe! So you will be in good company. :)
