Celebrate traditions from times past at the Fall Mill Festival.  Take a tour of Montgomery County's only water-powered gristmill and experience many hands-on, family-friendly demonstrations including tin smithing, corn husk dolls, and Lenni-Lenape story teller. The new blacksmith shop will be unveiled at this event as well.

The Evans-Mumbower Mill is located along the Wissahickon Creek, at the junction of Township Line and Swedesford Roads in Upper Gwynedd Township. Constructed in 1744, it is currently listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Public open houses are held once a month, where visitors can go on guided tours to see the mill in operation, and learn about the history of milling on the Wissahickon Creek.

The Mill is owned and operated by the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association (WVWA), a conservation nonprofit organization that believes people benefit when nature thrives and have protected almost 1300 acres of open space.  For more information see their website at http://www.wvwa.org/evansmill/openhouse/ or call 215-646-8866.
