Fall has officially arrived and while the temperatures may finally be dropping the excitement will be at an all-time high as acclaimed artist Meghan Cary takes the stage at The Mermaid Friday, October 19 at 8:30 PM.
Her first full band show of the season, Cary will be backed by the Analog Gypsies, whose lineup includes: Peter Farrell (keys/vocals), Jocko MacNelly (bass), Bob Beach (harp, flute, and vocals) and introducing Ron DiSilvestro on drums. A surprise guest or two may also be stopping by to join Cary as she plays some of her most beloved songs for her hometown audience.
“Everyone singing along, Guest artists jumping up for a song or two…it’s always a party at the Mermaid! We’ll be playing all the favorites on Friday, plus we’re introducing a few new tunes, and a new drummer,” said Cary. “It’s a great way to kick off our Fall tour!”
Many of those fan favorites are stand-out tracks from Cary’s latest album Sing Louder, which debuted among the top 10 on the US / International Folk DJ Radio Charts and is being played at mainstream radio in more than 40 markets throughout the country and in Canada.
Mandy Schaller of The Miss Mandy Band opens.
Performance starts at 8:30 PM. Tickets are $15 at the door.
