Open Theatre Project is proud to present EVERYONE IS DYING AND SO AM I, created and performed by Michael John Ciszewski, and directed by Sarah Gazdowicz and Tyler Prendergast, at St. John’s Church in Jamaica Plain, Boston from April 29 through May 9, 2020.


Join our hero Michael John as he transforms his story of loss, fear, and regret through an experience in the crowd of a concert headlined by celebrated pop diva, The Priestess. Together, you'll dance through a collective creative process that fearlessly confronts the past in order to make a more fabulous future for us all. Turn up the volume and move through the agony and ecstasy of life towards understanding the unifying truth that Everyone is Dying and So Am I!


Following development in Open Theatre Project’s Plays in Progress lab for new work in Spring/Summer 2019, EVERYONE IS DYING AND SO AM I, premiered in a sold-out workshop performance with Open Theatre Project in Boston in September 2019. The show then played two sold-out performances at New York City’s Theatre Row in October 2019, as an official selection of the 10th Annual United Solo Theatre Festival—spotlighting the best in international solo performance. It was subsequently nominated for the festival’s Audience Award.

Please note: Doors will open for all performances approximately 30 minutes prior to the designated start time.
*May 8: Special late night performance at 10:30PM with Afterlife Afterparty club night featuring a DJ set from Michael John.

SPECIAL EVENTS
Soundcheck: early entry for VIPs is available for all performances at approximately 45 minutes prior to the designated start time.
