Join up to a thousand of your fellow Esplanade-lovers and run the most popular running route in Greater Boston at “Boston’s Most Beautiful 5K”!
This course takes a scenic riverfront route with spectacular views of the Longfellow Bridge, Boston and Cambridge skyline, and Esplanade lagoons during the spring bloom season. The finish line is perfectly photogenic, set against the backdrop of the Charles River.
Runners of all abilities are encouraged to participate. Whether you are a competitive runner, or hoping to enjoy the course with your family, there is a wave in the race for you.
T-shirt included with race entry. Proceeds from the race directly benefit the Esplanade Association’s work to revitalize, enhance, program, and maintain the Charles River Esplanade.
Prizes for top female and male runners across various age brackets. Prize for top team.
Packet pick-up will take place on Thursday, May 16 from 5-8pm at Marathon Sports Boylston Street.
