Celtic rockers, Enter the Haggis will serve up songs from their musical catalog at the Bull Run Restaurant on Sunday, September 11 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 on day of show.
With nine studio albums, five live albums, and music in several feature films, Enter the Haggis has a large repertoire from which to choose a set-list.
Instrumental choices are plentiful, too. Brian Buchanan, Trevor Lewington and Craig Downie share an assortment of eight instruments between them, including trumpet, Irish whistles, bagpipes, and fiddle. Classic rock instrumentation backs their multi-textured sound.
Always at the vanguard of the Celtic-inspired music scene, ETH has become a genre unto themselves. Their lyrics hold meaning and promise with their fans, and their musicianship holds respect from musical peers.
Brett Elliott, Executive Director of Connecticut’s Katherine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center, said of Enter the Haggis, “Energy and excitement! This group engaged the audience from the first beat, and after doing an acoustic tune in the audience at the end of the show, became an instant crowd favorite.”
No strangers to the greater Boston area, the six-member band has regularly entertained audiences at the Shalin Liu Performing Arts Center, the Spire Center, Center for the Arts in Natick, and the City Winery.
Their latest album, "The Archer's Parade," was released in March of 2020, and was immediately sidelined by the pandemic. Fortunately, live music is back, and so is Enter the Haggis.
The Bull Run Restaurant is a full service, seven room restaurant with a 288-seat concert venue. Several menus offer everything from tavern fare to fine dining. A special concert menu is available beginning at 5:30 pm. There is food and beverage minimum in addition to the ticket price.
