Emotional Intelligence (EI) is defined as “a set of emotional and social skills that influence the way we perceive and express ourselves, develop and maintain social relationships, cope with challenges, and use emotional information in an effective and meaningful way.”


Participants will learn to recognize and understand emotions in others and themselves, and will use this awareness to manage behavior and build positive relationships. This workshop will also share recent findings about EI results and development for LGBTQIA+ individuals. EI is increasingly important to provide a safe, diverse, and inclusive workplace.
