Awbury Arboretum & Chef Claire Phelan’s Eating Antiquity Supperclub goes on the road!

March 23rd 6:30-9:30PM

Grumblethorpe | 5267 Germantown Ave.

PhilaLandmarks and Grumblethorpe are partnering with Awbury Arboretum on a series of programs starting with the Antiquity Supperclub!

Come sample five hearty and comforting courses in the cozy front room of Grumblethorpe, a Germantown house built by the Wister Family in 1744. Start the evening exploring the house museum’s downstairs with a tipple of wine in honor of John Wister, family patriarch and wine merchant. Then, meet fellow history enthusiasts over rousing toasts and lively conversation led by the the Wisters’ city neighbor – and our guest of honor, Benjamin Franklin!
