East Somerville Main Streets presents a night of wine tasting, live music, food and speed "dating" for neighbors in East Somerville.
In honor of Valentines Day, it's time for some East Somerville Love. Come meet the neighborhood with a wine tasting at Joe's Liquor from 6-8 P.M. Wines featured: Capa Tempranillo, Capa Moscato, Capap Giornacha, and Mi Amore, paired with three types of chocolate, and breadsticks.
The East Somerville fun continues at Casey's Bar starting at 8 P.M. with some free appetizers, and a round of neighbor speed dating to encourage meeting new friends and neighbors (and who knows, maybe your soul mate) from 8:15 P.M.-9 P.M., and then live music by Hot Sauce BPS. For those not interested in speed dating, there will be appetizers and an area to hang out (platonically) with neighbors.
East Somerville Main Streets will have t-shirts for sale at both locations, along with a raffle for some great East Somerville prizes. A donation of ANY amount will get you a raffle ticket for a chance to win dinner at Some 'Ting Nice Caribbean Restaurant for two, a $35 gift card to East End Grille, and a gift basket put together by Joe's Liquor. Sign up to be an East Somerville Main Streets member ($25) and get five tickets into that raffle. The raffle will be held at 8:30 P.M. at Casey's.
Pink and red attire for the evening suggested for maximum fun, though not required.
