Dumplings for the Chinese New Year Adult Cooking Class

It’s time to celebrate Chinese New Year and all the fabulous food this holiday features. In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Thi will guide you through preparing three types of delicious dumplings – staples of the Chinese New Year menu. You’ll make pork and shrimp sumai, chicken pan fried dumplings and barbeque pork bao. Bring a bright colored apron and your appetite!

Cooking demonstration and hands-on learning experience.
Instruction from an experienced, top-notch instructor.
Recipes and creative packaging ideas to take home.
Delicious samplesl to enjoy on-site or to take with you.
Class is limited to 8 participants to follow Covid-19 safety guidelines. Pre-registration is required 2 days prior to a class or event. If it is within 2 days and you wish to register, please email [email protected] or call 508.785.0339 to find out if there is space remaining.

COVID-19 Guidelines: Due to the state-mandated Covid-19 guidelines, participants will be set up at stations 6 feet apart and required to wear masks during portions of the class when the six-foot guideline cannot apply (i.e. gathering around the cooking area to watch the instructor).

Cancellation Policy: In the event that a program is canceled due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible by email and issue you a full refund or transfer into another class within 14 days of the cancellation. If you cannot attend a program as planned, contact Powisset Farm 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds will not be granted for registration cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program. We offer transfers to other classes or events with 48 hours of the class. There are no refunds for missed classes. The Trustees reserves the right to change program locations, schedules, or instructors when necessary. Note: Summer Camps and our inns and campgrounds each have separate cancellation policies.
